Our Experience at the One Of A Kind 50th Anniversary Christmas Show (2025)

( Nov 27th – Dec 7th, Toronto)

This year’s One Of A Kind (OOAK) Christmas Show felt extra special. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the event carried a bit of history in every aisle — half a century of supporting Canadian makers, artisans, and small businesses. Walking in, you could feel the mix of tradition and excitement. The halls were festive, buzzing with families, creators, and curious shoppers, all celebrating the magic of handmade craft in the heart of Toronto.

As a visitor, the experience was inspiring. Every booth had a story, and every founder shared their passion with such authenticity that it reminded me why small businesses are the backbone of our communities. Here are a few standout moments from our time at the show:

:teapot: @teasbykaraThey had a beautifully curated selection of teas across different flavor profiles. The Kadak Masala stole the show for me — bold, aromatic, and packed with a truly authentic taste. You could tell they pour intention into every blend.

:books: @mhare.canadaOne of the most charming encounters. She presented her work like it was straight out of a classic storybook world. Her handcrafted books from Rajasthan were stunning — premium paper, thoughtful stitching, and a sense of heritage in every piece.

:razor: @cutthroatshavesAmazing customer service. They didn’t just speak about their products — they walked me through the entire shaving range. The creams and grooming items felt premium, high-quality, and made with real craftsmanship.

Friendly, welcoming, and easy to connect with. Their t-shirt line from Montreal had unique graphics and great material quality. You could immediately tell they love what they do.

Beyond the vendors, there were talented paintersbeautifully decorated holiday shelves, lively main-stage performances, and of course — the food trucks. The food was delicious (dangerously delicious), and the endless samples from local creators made the stroll even better.
